Our staff is made up of accounting professionals who are well
trained and experienced in acute and long term care solutions.
Our staff members receive annual training in cost reporting and
billing.
Our company currently provides acute and long-term
healthcare accounting and consulting services for providers in
18 states. I began in private practice in 1991 with a small group
of healthcare clients and now we serve approximately 150
companies with services such as Medicare billing, Medicare
and Medicaid cost reports, payroll, financial statements, taxes
and various other business solutions. I have a total of 20 years
of experience in healthcare management and financial
reporting.
We are a small company, however we find that being the size
we are makes it very convenient for you as a client to reach us
any time with any question. At the same time, we are very
experienced, receive annual training in healthcare billing and
cost reporting and are able to provide you with the highest level
of healthcare consulting and accounting.
Medicare Billing - We have done Medicare billing for 14
years and accounts receivable collections for 18 years. We
have also provided short term Medicare billing consulting and
training for several other Medicare providers.
We have reviewed and corrected billing for nursing homes,
home health agencies and other providers for prior years. In
this process we have re-established their charges, entered
their remittance advices and compiled patient ledgers. We have
then worked their accounts receivable aging to re-bill any
denials and collect delinquent balances. In this process we
have performed various phases of their Medicare billing and
follow-up from start to finish.
One of the advantages our clients find in outsourcing their
billing to our company is that they have consistency of staff,
don’t have to provide for training and re-training of staff in
response to employee turnover and have a broader level of
experience to handle their collections.
We perform your on-line billing and follow-up of claims on a
daily basis. Our service includes providing you with a Billing
Compliance Plan which follows the model proscribed by CMS
and with a contract which you would have on file for your State
surveyors. This Compliance Plan includes annual continuing
education for our employees in Medicare billing.
Medicare & Medicaid Cost Reports – We have been
preparing cost reports for over 18 years. Our staff attends
regular training in the preparation of reports to ensure that you
receive accurate and timely reports. We also prepare your
“Crosswalk” which ties your books to the cost report. We can
prepare your annual cost report, schedules, Form 339
Questionnaire and electronic submission file.
Payroll & Payroll Taxes – We can prepare your payroll in our
office and over-night your payroll checks directly to your office
or make direct deposit for your employees. In this process we
track your employee hours, wages and payroll taxes according
to departments as required by Medicaid and Medicare. Our
services include preparing your quarterly and annual payroll
tax returns for both state and federal taxes.
Accounting Software - We have some excellent solutions to
your software needs that are easy to use and economical to
purchase.
Financial Reports – Your monthly transactions are compiled
into helpful reports for you to use in management and for
reporting on your taxes and cost report. We book your
revenues, departmental expenses, capital assets, depreciation,
loan amortization, tax expense, liabilities and net worth
accounting information. Your bank statements are reconciled to
the books each month to insure accuracy of information.
Tax Returns – Your business and personal tax returns can be
completed by us. We work with you in preparing an accurate
tax return.
